This is a list of places to stay in Barcelona during the conference. We will update it as we are collecting more info or we are getting some price arrangements.

Leave your suggestions on the Drupalcon

We would like to have your suggestions on the Drupalcon. What are you missing? What could be improved? What shouldn't be happening?

We'll try to fix problems and implement improvements. Your suggestions will allow us also to have an even better ( ?!) Drupalcon next time. Please, be constructive and positive and you will sleep much better tonight :-)

Looking for others to share our apartment..

Hi,

My friend and I are going to rent an apartment, and we came accross a rather nice one that has an extra bedroom... Would anyone be interested in sharing with us... The apartment is in the neighborhood of Sarria-Sant Gervasi, and sleeps 4 (1 double bed in one bedroom, 2 single bunk beds in the other). The price would work out to about 40 euro's per night, per person..

Airport Taxi Prices & Aerobus

The prices to downtown should be around 25 Euro (depending on traffic between 20-30 min) and you shall also consider taking the aerobus, which is much cheaper, leaving any terminal every 15 min. Check your hotel where to leave it!!!!

Beware, inside the taxi is also a list of prices as luggage costs you per piece!!!

No wi-fi at Peninsular Hotel

I just spoke with Carina, who works at Hotel Peninsular and speaks excellent english. She had sent me this amusing line in an email:

There is one computer with internet in the hotel. Its for free.
There is also WLAN - but at the moment, this doesnt work - we don`t know why.

I warned her that a large number of internet technology specialists were about to invade their hotel; that we'd want wi-fi, and that if it didn't work, we'd fix it ourselves.

She said we'd have to speak with her boss, but "that would be great".

Trip time from airport to drupalcon ?

Anyone knows what is the trip time from the airport to drupalcon ? With a taxi (I guess this is the fastest medium).

My plane is landing at 10:00 AM on wednesday, so I hope I won't miss the "Welcome message" session :p

Come on, folks, I encourgae all of you to really sign up here where you are staying, that that even after the daily conference we have chances to really make the most out of our time in Spain..

This way we can also arrange that ppl are getting sort of picked up for the conference. Usually these things are dealt with automatically and naturally after 2 days, but with only 4 days in town it is better to speak up prior about leaving from the same loaction and all..

Same with rides to and from the airport!!!

Do all of you come for the entire Drupal Days or just for some days? which ones .. Do you also combine it with other travels or is Drupal that important you you (already?)
