A great bar, with the capacity to hold 150+ people not to far from the confrence, it makes a great place to start the night... lets meetup here after tonights event, have a few drinks together, and plan the rest of the evening / split up from there

Tonight is the start of La Merce.

Ballada de sardanes

One of the first events is traditional Catalan dance, held at the Av. de la Catedral.

The performance starts at 18:00. Ken Rickard will be leading a group directly from here to the event.

Meet at the Tram stop at 17:20 if you want to go in a group.

If you come later, the plaza is just north of the Jaume I metro stop, on the yellow L4.

The Av. de la Catedral is about 300m from Las Ramblas.

The great power adapter question

So what to the power sockets look like in Barcelona? I'm wondering if the remnants of my international adapter collection will suffice. The Mac power supply can handle the voltage but I'm pretty sure the 3-pronger isn't going to find many homes, yes?
