When I got back from paying my registration on paypal (woohoo! I'm registered!) it still gave me the "Your registration is not complete" message.
This message persisted as I browsed the site until I came to make this forum post.
It just seems like that got cached somewhere and wasn't updated for a little while though I'm not sure exactly how/why that would happen (I believe the code for that module is private, right?).
Registered but not showing up in the attendees list
I've got another issue: I registered and paid, but I'm not showing up in the list of attendees...
update: after posting the comment above, I suddenly did get the registration tab, and I showed up in the attendees list. Something buggy going on in the registration module...

further small issue
Hello Robert - thanks for the assistance.
I also got a message via email saying that "Your message to Donations awaits moderator approval".
I'm not sure if this has been fixed already, but if not it would be a better user experience if we didn't get these messages back. It's somewhat confusing as a user (e.g. what does it mean that my message awaits moderation? does that mean I'm not registered? should I register again?)

There are two parts to this issue:
1. Was the payment made to donations@drupal.org or barcelona2007@drupal.org? It should be the latter for all fees paid on this conference site, and I checked the setting for that. I saw that Gregg's payment is correctly recorded in the database, meaning that we used the correct barcelona2007 mail address.
2. As for the moderation, this has to do with the way the email is setup. Dries and Gerhard know about it. I thought it was addressed, but if not, then Dries/Gerhard should know about it.

I just registered. The cache problem seems to be resolved, but the moderation problem is not resolved as I got the email "Your message to Donations awaits moderator approval".

Time lag
Hi all.
Yes, 2bits did this module. It will be committed to CVS as soon as I can find the time.
Note that there is a time lag between when you finish paying on Paypal's site, and for the red message to disappear. The reason is that we get confirmation from Paypal using IPN (Instant Payment notification). There is an inherent lag of few seconds to a minute or so from when you come back from Paypal to the thank you page, and Paypal accessing our site with an IPN notification.
So, just be patient for a minute or two, and the message will disappear. If it is does not, and you got a confirmation email from Paypal that your payment has been successful, then contact someone on this site with your uid, so we can investigate.
